Friday's Trial Garden Tour and Barbeque was a bit of a washout, but the wet weather didn't dampen the spirits or appetites of our Dahlia lovers...

Outside the Horticulture Center, the staff greets visitors to the show and the Paul Callahan Dahlia garden...

On Sunday, a visit from Bernadette Castro, Commissioner of New York State Parks. She is shown below left with her Daughter-in-law and Grandaughter, holding the new Dahlia introduction "Bernadette Castro" presented to her by Steve Nowotarski, left.

Despite the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on 9/11/01, we had 81 exhibitors from as far away as Nova Scotia and 2193 blooms. Over the weekend we had some 5000 visitors to the show.
